Shadow Of The Lost - Bode Software

Created building units for Shadow of the Lost, a dark fantasy-style Soulslike game developed by Bode Software. The house was built using PBR based modular pieces and Quixel assets, combined with Unreal’s Modeling Tools and material instances to match the game's visual style.

Creating reusable assets and developing shaders directly in-engine to generate material and model variations—reducing redundancy while maintaining visual diversity.

Other variants of the building units, including a thin twig wall and a stone wall, both procedurally modeled in Houdini.

Modular pieces were created using a combination of methods: some were sourced from the Quixel library, some were built in Unreal’s Modeling Tools using Quixel assets, and others were created from scratch.

Snow shader and rock procedure modeling

Created a snow-covered material instance in UE5 and a PCG-based snow particle system to quickly apply visual snow effects to any asset.
