Mangosteen Shader Programming

This project focuses on developing a realistic fruit shader using Houdini’s Karma renderer. The process involved sculpting a high-poly mangosteen model in ZBrush and building a detailed shader network in Houdini to achieve natural surface qualities and translucency. In addition to the fruit, the basket was procedurally modeled in Houdini to complement the final render.
